To deliver consistently extraordinary levels of client service.
To transfer our intellectual capital to our clients so they can be self-reliant in the future. Our best advocates are former clients because we helped them achieve risk, business continuity and crisis management independence.
To value our clients’ time and apply our experience and expertise to find the simplest, most time-efficient and cost-effective solution to their problem.
To provide our clients with the services of seasoned and experienced professionals at each stage of an engagement.
To only accept engagements for which we are fully qualified and only where our services will add real value.
To accept payment only when our clients are fully satisfied with our services.
To provide tangible results early on in our client engagements.
To carry minimal overhead, allowing our clients to pay only for those services and results that are achieved and valued.
To focus on completing what we are engaged to do rather than trying to pursue the sale of next phase objectives.
To offer a fixed fee payment structure and assume the project management risk because we are confident that we can deliver on our promises. Our sole focus is client satisfaction and our payment is commensurate with our performance.
Copper Harbor Consulting, Inc. was founded in April 2002 by Tom Gaitley after a long tenure as a risk and business continuity consultant at some of the largest and most prestigious insurance, engineering and risk advisory firms in the world.
Tom decided to establish his own firm to fulfill a market need for a consultancy that puts the client’s interests first.
Copper Harbor, the inspiration for our name, is a majestic area of natural beauty in the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Known by many as a place of peace, serenity and safety, our name stands for the high level of assurance and protection we bring our clients in today’s uncertain business climate.
